Job description

As a kitchen employee you work in a team of 15 colleagues and prepare fresh meals and soups every day. You wash, cut, cook and mix ingredients according to recipes or the chef’s instructions and keep an eye on quality such as doneness, taste and colour. You also help receive and store new deliveries and keep the kitchen clean. You work Monday to Friday in day shift, from 07:00 to 16:00 or 08:00 to 17:00. A part-time position working Saturdays only is also possible.

What will you do?

• Preparing meals and soups by washing, cutting, cooking and mixing ingredients;
• Carrying out quality checks during and after preparation;
• Cleaning the kitchen and equipment after each shift;
• Receiving and putting away new deliveries;
• Working according to HACCP hygiene guidelines.

Your job happiness (& benefits)

• Gross monthly salary between €2.600 and €2.700 based on a fulltime contract of 40 hours;
• Travel allowance of €0,23 per kilometre commuting distance;

Job requirements

• You have mbo working and thinking level;
• You have relevant work experience in a kitchen, for example in the hospitality industry;
• You have knowledge of HACCP guidelines or are willing to learn this;
• You have a sufficient command of Dutch or English to understand work instructions and work safely.
